We want you to love your order as much as we love creating it. If something doesn’t work out, here’s how our return process works:
Return Window

You have 14 days from the date your order is delivered to create a return.

Items discounted 25% or more (including BOGOs & mystery items) are final sale and not eligible for refunds.
Sizing & Measurement Tolerance

Garment measurements can vary slightly due to manufacturing. We allow a 2" tolerance on key measurements.

How to measure:
-
Lay the shirt flat on a table.
-
Width (Chest): measure armpit-to-armpit.
-
Length: measure from the highest shoulder point to the bottom hem.
-

If your item’s width or length is more than 2" different from our posted size chart, it’s considered defective, and we’ll replace or refund it without fees.
Return & Exchange Conditions

Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.

We cannot accept items with:

Signs of wear (pilling, deodorant stains, strong odors like smoke, cologne, detergent, body odor, etc.)

Animal/human hair, glitter, powder, or other residues
-

For hygiene reasons, water bottles, face masks, and socks are not returnable.

Each purchase is eligible for one exchange only (same item, different size).

Denied returns will be shipped back to the customer within 5–7 business days.
Refunds & Fees

Return shipping is not covered by Born of Shadows.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

A 30% restocking fee applies to:

Any cancellations made after 24 hours of placing your order
(This fee helps cover production costs since items are made-to-order.)

Refunds are processed within 1–3 business days after approval and will appear on your original payment method.
Exchanges

Exchanges are available for the same item in a different size.

If your requested size is unavailable, we’ll issue a refund instead.
Incorrect, Defective, or Damaged Items
If you received the wrong item, a missing item, or a quality issue (misprint, peeling design, crooked print, etc.), email us within 7 days of delivery at support@bornofshadows.co with:

A photo of the full item, and a close-up of the issue

For sizing defects: photos of the shirt laid flat with a measuring tape visible (width armpit-to-armpit + length shoulder-to-hem)
If measurements are more than 2" off from our posted size chart, we’ll issue a free replacement or full refund.
Reports after 7 days will be handled under our standard return policy.

Once shipped, email your tracking number to support@bornofshadows.co with the subject: “Refund” or “Exchange.”
Processing Time

Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect it within 1–3 business days.

If approved:

Refunds will be issued and show back in your account within 1–3 business days.

Exchanges will be processed as a new order in your requested size.

If denied, your item will be reshipped to you within 5–7 business days.
